Malawi plays Chad in the African Cup on Saturday
Malawi plays Chad on Saturday June 16 at the Kamuzu Stadium in Blantyre in a game they have to win to qualify for the next round in the Africa Cup of Nations 2013 to be held in South Africa.
Malawi lost the first leg in N'Djamena 2-3 and are under pressure to win having gone more than five games in a row without a win. Fans are calling for Kinnah Phiri;s head for these poor results and if he does not deliver on Saturday, he will go.
This fixture will complete a busy three week period for Malawi in which they have already played two games in the World Cup 2014 qualifiers drawing both games against Kenya 0-0 and Nigeria 1-1.
Malawi also recently drew in friendly games against China Under-22, Tanzania 0-0, Zanzibar 1-1.
